windows shortcuts

The "windows key" allows for useful shortcuts

Windows + E		Pops windows (file) explorer.
Windows + R		"Run" window as in start menu.
Windows + Pause		System properties.
Windows + L		Lock station.
Windows + D		Hides or displays all windows.
Windows + M		Minimizes all windows.
Windows + Maj + M		Restores all windows.
Windows + U		Utilities manager.
Windows + F		Search for file (Find).
Windows + Ctrl + F		Search for computers.
Windows + F1		Help and support center.

More shortcuts without windows key

F2		Rename.
F3		Search.
F5		Refresh (like in files explorer or other applications).
Alt + F4		Close window.
Alt + Entrée		Files properties as in right_click -> Properties.
Alt + Tab		Scan through opened programs (in the same order as they were launched). Displays list of all programs while alt is kept pressed.
Alt + Esc		Scan through opened programs.
Maj + Insertion de CD		Bypasses automatic opening (autorun).
Maj + Suppr		Delete without passing by the trash.
Ctrl + Esc		Open "Start" menu (in case you miss the windows key).
Ctrl + A		Select all.
Ctrl + Z		Cancel.
Crtl + Maj + drag&drop		Create shortcut.
Backspace		Parent directory.
Print Screen		Screen capture (To be pasted - Ctrl + V - after in an application as paint).
Ctrl + Alt + Print Screen		Screen capture of the current application.
